Default Make some side games besides serious PVP

Games in the festival are very lovely indeed, they are addictive even without the drooling returns. So I wonder if people would like them in a casual PVP area as a side fun and be available to at all year round but without the festival rewards..

like dragon arena(kaineng center only), snow ball games(shiver peak only), or even games like racing(I will say more about it below)

it will be some flowers and leaves amongst the blood and gore seriousness.

Racing: Theme vary, basically like Mario cart but instead of using carts, you just run, and you have several skills(everyone has the same skills) to slow and halt others or boost yourself, run through the map and reach the end of map as the goal, there will be environmental effects like fire dragon traps, slow casts environment effect or collapsing roof to knock people down(like Arborstone mission).

Edit:
I hate to see a program that I wrote only used once a year, thus the all year round proposal, but it can be compensated with like no rewards or little rewards.
I don't know, but I just love the game so much I would do it for free. Like real life, you can blow up an firework any time of the year, but it would feel different in the festival season.

And different games can only be available to different festival based areas, thus the locations, like crystal desert will never have snow, therefore no snow ball games, and most Tyrians probably don't even know what dragon festival is, thus no dragon arenas for them.

so please consider these ideas and vote again.

Damn, you're making me dream.

Sometimes I don't feel like doing serious PvP or even killing anything at all. I like this mini-games idea.

Title-hungry people could also be happy with this. But the main idea of these mini-games would be probably to have fun.

The racing part sounds nice indeed, but I'm not a fan of putting in the seasonal events as continuous. They just make the event more 'cheerfull' and add something to it as well. (-:

So:
/notsigned for the first part
/signed for adding non-existant minigames

Some fun, light, non-specific holiday themed games would definitely be cool. Snowball and dragon arena should be saved for their proper holidays though, lest they lose their uniqueness.

Keep the holiday arenas to the holidays. They're what make people enjoy those holidays. Although I would like to see a Halloween arena =P
Racing...I'm interested xD
/signed for the new arenas
/notsigned for the holiday ones year-round

I think the run idea is great. Plus mini-games in general allow you to take a break from the maddness of PvE or PvP (depending on your prefences) and just have some fun. If mini-games were added I'm not sure if i would like to see a title added or not cuz then people would just be raging to farm for the title.

But by all means, nice idea. I thought about it when..i forgot who posted the Mad Queen Marathon topic and showed results of the player run event which i thought was pretty sweet.

*thumbs up to Saphrium*

Mini Games would be great fun, especially the moa bird racing idea.

On a side note, I'm still hoping they make moa birds a playable race.

How about for St.Patricks day event they have a drinking game similar to the one in that Nightfall solo mission. The one to drink the most in that time wins a thing of ale.

It would be nice if the side-games that Anet design do not cause your head to explode after only just 10 minutes of play...
